    The Sopranos was a unique opera performance melding tradition and technology to provide an engaging experience for those new to opera as well as avid fans.

    My Role
    The directors wanted an engaging method of displaying surtitles that can be updated in real-time to allow flexibility during the show. The surtitles also needed to have their position, scale and transition length pre-programmed, providing a unique method of displaying surtitles during an opera performance. For this project, I designed two UI's, one for the programming of the surtitles during rehearsals and another for playback of the surtitles. Additionally, live-camera effects were requested, allowing toggling and adjustment within the playback UI for the main performance.
