Interactive Artist & Developer
SXSW | Sydney
Popology, the creative agency behind the HP Blue Cube, wanted an interactive way to show off the groundbreaking folding screen laptop from HP by allowing users to share their 'flex'.
A design and system was developed to allow the public to enter their 'flex', have it moderated and then updated in real-time on the ticker wall.
SMSFA Conference | Brisbane
At the national SMSF Association conference at the Brisbane Convention Centre, I conceived an interactive installation to showcase sponsors in a fun, engaging way—with a design that evolved visually throughout the event, allowing interactivity without removing the sponsorship visibility.
Dreamworld | Gold Coast
The Virtual Aquarium, designed and built for the themepark Dreamworld, featured inside of the new area of the park, Seabed Splash. Tucked away in a coastal cave, the project encouraged play through interaction, whether it be tapping snails off the glass or opening treasure chests.
A 100-inch screen, a pane of glass with a custom touchscreen film and three physical buttons connected to an Arduino directly controlled an Unreal Engine project.
Big City Lights | Gold Coast
'Iridescence' is an audio-visual installation for the Gold Coast festival Big City Lights. Designed in collaboration with a local musician, the piece is timed to the created music which reflects the sounds and experiences around the Gold Coast area.
QLD Government | Brisbane
Creative Generation, or CGEN, is a combined public-schools spectacular where all public schools from Queensland are invited to perform, with the performance being broadcast to those in Queensland. Each performance has an accompanying visual, whereby my created visual pieces were timed to the choreography and music.
James Dive / Eat The Elephant / Vivid | Sydney
Artist James Dive designed an interactive tent city - tents snore until woken by audio from passers by, all while animal sounds emit from all around the 'camping' area.
Over 25 microphones and 9 speaker zones were used in conjunction with TouchDesigner to controlled lighting to create an immersive, 'alive' environment.
iOS App
SeeOSC is a passion project of mine, an iOS app that allows you to send sensor data over OSC or MIDI, send and receive video and audio streams, receive OSC commands and create custom control surfaces to send OSC, MIDI or Artnet DMX commands.
I was wanting something more than what was available, and so I started developing SeeOSC, a toolkit for real-time artists and developers. I have included features that I wish had existed previous, and will continue to develop it to add features based on my needs and the needs of the community.
